I was a little confused when I first saw this product, because to me Smartfood is a cheese popcorn. But there’s a new type of popcorn, also called “Smart Food” that is flavored popcorn clusters. I bought a box of single serve packs in the cranberry almond flavor to take with me to the fireworks on the Charles River Esplanade yesterday (which were FANTASTIC!) and they’re very good. Plus, they’re only 2 PTS per single serve bag, making this a great snack to keep with me when I travel or just running around town in case I get hungry. I highly recommend you check it out.
(Upon closer inspection, I learned that these are from Frito-Lay, which also owns the original white cheese Smartfood brand. So it’s not competition, they’re just expanding the brand. So far, I like it!)
